all but a few post, which will take a tractor to pull up. Gerry and Cindy came and helped Saturday morning. We worked on getting the rest of the ceiling/floor down. Tim knocked them loose, "walked" them to the end to fall off. Then we took out nails, cut the ends and bad places out, carried it to the barn. Cleaned up all the cut off pieces (see fire pit) then we started to process over again. After lunch it was just Tim and myself. We got it down to just the post standing.

| All studs are down on first two rows. |
| Right side still with studs. |
| Tim knocking down the top beam. These are some long beams! |
| Those 2 middle rows didn't take much convincing to fall over! |
| A storm is a'comin... which means - so is a water break! |
| Back to work after a short rain |
| All beams are down. Only 13 post remain. |

Other changes around the farm. Our neighbor who built the house with the horses and bought the pond and all the land, and who has the cows that entertain me, has been cleaning up! and man has he been cleaning up!! I came across this picture and was so amazed at the difference. I'm sorry I didn't take better pictures of the surroundings when we started this.

| Clearly I was taking a picture of the cool sunset, wanting to get the silo in the picture, and was probably annoyed that the mess was in my shot. I am so glad it was! This is what's left of the hog barn. |

| Same picture - just lighter so you can see better. |

| A wider view. It is going to be such a pretty view! He is going to clean it all up and plant grass! |
Another good thing that was confirmed this weekend was that the structure of the pack house is in good shape 😌
My uncle and cousin, Frank and Flanders, came out Saturday morning to help us with a plan of action. Frank has been building houses and furniture all my life and Flanders is a master draftsman (I'm not sure if that's a real title, but it sounds good). It meant a lot to us that they rode out and shared their knowledge and opinion.
