Re-routing to Route 3: Boy, oh boy!!! We have really made a mess now!

Oh my! Things don't always go as planned, but I like to think it is for the better in the long run..... so goes our septic tank/drain field issues.
Bad news: we had to get a new septic tank!! ugh, who wants to spend all that money, just to bury it, then poop in it - ok, that was gross, but yet 😒.
Good news: we had to get a larger tank (1000 gallon vs 750 gallon) due to code (insert eye roll, being there is no emoji) for our size house. Which actually makes me feel better because the Pack House will be pumped into this also.
I'm so glad I could be home to watch the process - always like to see how things are done. So I watched from the window and went and checked on things, only occasionally. I had my boy Landry out there making sure things were done right. They would dig a hole, and he would instantly go check it out, sniff all around, and pull out a root every now and then. He stayed out of their way while they worked, but he was right in there one step behind them! I can say this, he typically sleeps all day long, well yesterday he was active all day long. When Tim and I were sitting outside in the evening, Landry could not keep his eyes open, it was like the baby who is trying so hard to stay awake but their head keeps nodding. It cracked us up! He was SO TIRED.
Well there's not much more to say about this, so here are the pictures:
Day ONE:

Day TWO:

He did come back late Friday night and slightly covered all this up. Now we get to sit and look at this for an entire Memorial Day Weekend. Supposedly, they will be back Tuesday.

Day THREE (that is 3rd day of work, but yet, the 6th day of our yard being a mess):

Gonna have to work on smoothing around the tree or Tim's in for a bumpy ride mowing grass!


Whoo hoo AND boo hoo can be the emotions now. Glad its done, ready for grass to grow

Meanwhile...... we continue on projects. Just about the time we see the end of one coming close, we think of two more to start! Anyone else????

So this week, we completed Tim's desk!

The original plan was to wrap it with the same wood that is the top of the side table, but we decided to live with it like this for now, and we can always add it later.
