We had things going on....

Friday, this place was hoppin'!  And thank goodness, because it had been a very nonproductive week!!  The weather messed up the first of the week and I was busy the rest, but when Friday rolled around things got busy.  By 8:00 am, we had several EMC trucks out here, the electrician, and the plumber!!!  Thankfully Tim was able to stay home to get everything rolling.  EMC was here to bury all the electrical wires that ran from the well to the house to the barns to the old well. Wires galore.  The plumber had to mark where the water lines were - which he had a machine that could read where the pipes were and how deep!! How cool is that?! So he marked the yard (this saved us big time).  The electrician had to be here to install the new electrical box on the house and the well.  Then EMC went to work.  It was so interesting to see this process.  I got to leave work for about 2 hours to come watch and get the electricians started in the house putting up ceiling fans, light fixtures and the such.  The plumber also re-plumbed the plumbing outside the house where he said it looked like spaghetti junction! and tried to find out why water from my fabulous inside washing machine was not draining and coming back in the house😮😭.  Luckily there is a window, so we can stick the hose out and let it drain from the window - classy huh?!!  But hey, better than flooding the floor!!  Anyways, he came back Monday and pulled out a ton of roots, so we are back in business - washing clothes like normal folks😊
He also had to come fix the toilet.  For some very odd reason, when we turned back on the water and the electricity, the toilet (big bath) would not fill up the tank and the internet stopped working!!  TWO things on the very other end of the house, that were not bothered at all by the activities happening, but yet they break.  Geez Louis!!!!  Anywho, they are thankfully back up and working.

my before and after pictures are not the best! a) wires are difficult to photograph; b) before's were taken in the morning on a cloudy day, after's taken in the afternoon on a super sunny day; c) Putting side by side pictures on the blogger page is extremely frustrating... but hopefully you get the gist

So now that all that is behind us, the roofing company can come in and do their thang!!! Whoop
All but 2 of our interior doors are in, so hopefully Craig will be back over here installing them and finish all the trim and the very long list of small things that needs to be completed.  Then things will really start to feel finished!!!!!  Then off to order countertops 😀
